Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kreatex("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the Kreatex mobile app and website (the "Service"), a marketplace where creatives discover, book and pay for studios, equipment and crew. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information you give us: name, email address and password (passwords are stored only as salted hashes).
• Profile information you choose to add: your craft or discipline, bio, city, portfolio images, listings and reviews.
• Location: an approximate, city-level location derived from the location text you enter, used to rank "near you" results. We do not track your precise device GPS in the background.
• Bookings and transactions: the listings you book, apply to or offer, and the amounts held in escrow and released.
• Payment information: card and bank details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Identity verification data: if you request a verified badge, a government ID and selfie are processed by our verification partner Didit. We receive only the verification result, not the underlying document.
• Content you create: messages, listings, images and reviews.
• Device and usage data: app version, device model, and diagnostic logs used to keep the Service reliable and secure.

How we use your information

• To operate the Service: create your account, show relevant listings, process bookings and hold payments in escrow until work is signed off.
• To connect you with hosts and creatives, and to power the AI Co-Pilot feed based on what you tell it you need.
• To verify identity, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and keep the community safe (moderation, reporting and blocking).
• To send you service messages about your account, bookings and payouts.

We do notsell your personal information, and Kreatex does not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we share information

• With other users, as needed to complete a booking (for example, your public profile, listing details and messages).
• With service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: Stripe (payments and payouts), Didit (identity verification), and our hosting and infrastructure providers.
• For legal reasons, if required to comply with the law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (see below) we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax or fraud-prevention obligations.

Your rights and choices

• Delete your account at any time from the app under Profile → Account Settings → Delete account. This soft-deletes and anonymises your personal data.
• Access, correct or export your data by emailing us.
• Manage permissions (camera, photos, microphone, Face ID) from your device settings.

Children

Kreatex is intended for users aged 17 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, short-lived access tokens with rotating refresh tokens, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
